For its outstanding commitment to professional development, statewide leadership and participation in legislative advocacy, The Lindbergh Schools Board of Education has been chosen as one of only 10 school boards statewide to receive the Missouri School Boards Association 2011 Leadership Team Award.
Lindbergh’s board was chosen from among 522 public school districts in Missouri, based on the following characteristics:
All seven board members have obtained Essential certification from MSBA
At least two members have earned Advanced certification
At least one member has Master’s level certification, MSBA’s highest level of distinction
Participation in MSBA events throughout the year
The board was honored last week at MSBA’s Leadership Summit.
