The Lindbergh Board of Education last week approved the district’s 2017-2018 academic calendar.
The first day of the 2017-2018 school year will be Thursday, Aug. 17.
Each year, a committee of parents, teachers and administrators meet to develop the calendar before submitting it to the board for final approval. The 2017-2018 calendar has 175 school days, including six early release days and four half days.
In the event of inclement weather, six dates at the end of the year have been designated as emergency makeup days.
The last day of school for the 2017-2018 school year is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
