The Lindbergh Spirit of St. Louis Marching band placed second in its division at the Farmington Marching Invitational on Sept. 17.
The band was also awarded “Outstanding Drum Majors” and “Outstanding Percussion” honors.
At the Webbstock Marching Festival in Webb City on Sept. 24, Lindbergh placed second out of 30 bands, and senior Eliot Courtois was awarded “Outstanding Soloist” in both the preliminary and final performances.

“Thanks to all of the chaperones, equipment helpers, bus drivers, staff and students for making our trip to Webb City a lot of fun and very successful,” David Wyss, director of bands, stated in a news release. “The organization of the festival and judging comments were top notch, and I feel like the kids saw a lot, learned a lot and had a blast.”
