Lindbergh Baccalaureate ceremony scheduled

The Lindbergh High School graduating class of 2004 will conduct a Baccalaureate ceremony at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, in the Lindbergh High School Auditorium, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd.

The Baccalaureate service is an inspirational program that gives the graduates an evening of solemn reflection, spiritual evaluation, encouragement and a celebration of the closing of this stage of their lives and an opening to their future.

This year’s ceremony features music and poetry written and performed by seniors, and words of inspiration from teachers and senior students. This year’s featured guest speaker is Nancy Gucwa, a West Point graduate and 82nd Airborne Division jumpmaster. The Lindbergh High School Choir and Strolling Strings also will perform. The evening will be highlighted by a candle-lighting ceremony.

The Baccalaureate ceremony and a reception that will follow are open to all seniors of the class of 2004, their families, teachers and staff, alumni, friends and community members.
