Lindbergh High School seniors Joseph Baumgartner and Charley Mueller recently signed on for college level play.

• Joseph Baumgartner – Miami University of Ohio

Joseph Baumgartner has signed a letter of intent to swim for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Joseph, son of Susan and Michael Baumgartner, was captain of the LHS Flyers swim team, coached by Tim Lombardo, and also swam for the Flyers Aquatic Swim Team, or FAST, under the direction of Coach Jason Cravens.

His most memorable moment with the Flyers was swimming the 100 yard freestyle at state, where he finished in 45:80, according to a news release. At Miami University of Ohio, Joseph plans to major in microbiology and swim for coaches Scott Usher and Pete Lindsay.

• Charley Mueller – St. Louis Community College-Meramec

Senior forward Charley Mueller will play basketball next year for St. Louis Community College-Meramec. Charley played basketball for the Flyers for four years, under the direction of Coach Jason Wolfard.

“Charley has excelled as a basketball player,” Coach Wolfard said. “We are excited that we will be able to watch him play locally next year.”

At St. Louis Community College, Charley will play for Coach Randy Albrecht.
