LHS Players to present ‘Chicago’ this week

The Lindbergh High School thespian troupe will transport audiences back to the Roaring ’20s when it performs ‘Chicago’ this week.

The Lindbergh High School thespian troupe will transport audiences back to the Roaring ’20s when it performs “Chicago” Thursday, Feb. 23, through Saturday, Feb. 25. in the LHS Auditorium, 5000 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
Show times for this iconic musical are set for 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and for 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday.
Set in the legendary city during the 1920s, “Chicago” tells the story of vaudevillian entertainers Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart as they fight for fame and fortune, all while behind bars at Cook County Jail. Broadway’s longest-running American musical, “Chicago” is a dazzling and satirical look at celebrity, justice and the media machine.

A free dress rehearsal for senior citizens will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22.
