A member of the Gravois Kiwanis Club recently was named governor-elect of the Missouri-Arkansas District of Kiwanis International.

Don Leupold was elected to the position during the organization’s recent district convention, according to a news release.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one community and one child at a time, the release stated.

Kiwanis Club members who reside in the Missouri-Arkansas District annually dedicate thousands of volunteer hours and invest millions of dollars to strengthen communities and serve children, according to the release.
