I recently noticed that my trash service is changing in April.
I’m happy to note that depending on a couple of options I choose, my cost will be less than it is now. One option I like is the Seniors 65-plus use of a 48-gallon cart.
Unlike a previous letter writer, I prefer the use of a cart over a trash bag for the sole reason that it helps keep plastics out the dumps.
I agree with the writer that, as he wrote, some people do leave the carts out front of their homes days after they have been emptied. But that doesn’t bother me, and I occasionally will wash my carts so there’s nothing disgusting about them.
