State legislators representing the area have been invited to the Thursday, June 20, monthly meeting of the South County Chamber of Commerce to provide an update on the legislative session that concluded last month.

The event will take place at the Holiday Inn on Butler Hill Road, near Interstate 55. Registration begins 11 a.m. and lunch will be at noon, followed by the program. The cost is $15 per person.

Besides the legislative update, the chamber will recognize students from the Mehlville School District and Lindbergh Schools who are recipients of the chamber’s 2013 scholarships.
