LaVern Josephine (nee Baltz) Huighe, 83, died Oct. 20 at Woodland Manor in Arnold.
Born and raised in Mehlville, she resided in Arnold for 21 years.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joette and Robert Wright; son, William Frank Huighe; sisters-in-law, Bernice DeLarber, Marie Strobel and Garnett Huighe; grandchildren, Kim (Kevin) Bagy, Aimee (Chris) Ware; Billy (Laura) Huighe, Nikki (Brad) Reckelhoff and Bradley (Nicole) Huighe; and nine great-grandchildren, with another due in January.
Mrs. Huighe was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William J. Huighe; son, William John Huighe Jr.; parents, William J. and Josephine B. (nee Rieper) Baltz; and sisters, Elaine Wind and Alcase Billie Johannes.
Mrs. Huighes body was cremated.
The family was assisted by Kutis South County Chapel.
