Kyle Robert Horvat, 18, died Aug. 4 in an automobile accident.

Mr. Horvat was preparing for his senior year at Mehlville Senior High School, where he was a member of the varsity basketball team for three years. He also played soccer for two years.

Survivors include his parents, John and Jacqueline Horvat (nee Nunnally); brothers, Nick Horvat and Tim Horvat; niece, Molly Nicole Horvat; grandfather, Russell Nunnally; and girlfriend, Molly Italiano. Mr. Horvat was preceded in death by his grandparents, Katherine Nunnally and Walter P. and Margaret Horvat.

Visitation was at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, south county.
