The Kiwanis Club of South County recently awarded scholarships to members of the two Key Clubs it sponsors. Kiwanis Club Scholarship Chairman Lee Bodendieck, center, presented the scholarships to Michele Campbell, left, of Mehlville High School, who will attend the Missouri University of Science and Technology at Rolla to study mechanical engineering, and Brittany Cox of Oakville High School, who will attend St. Louis University to study international studies.
2014 Kiwanis scholarship recipients
The Kiwanis Club of South County recently presented its annual Key Club Scholarships to Jackie Schanzle of Oakville High School and Irene Nguyen of Mehlville High School. Schanzle will attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City to become an elementary teacher, while Nguyen will attend St. Louis University’s predentistry program. The Kiwanis Club of South County recently presented scholarships to Alex Riddle, left, of Mehlville Senior High School and Katherine Bayer, right, of Oak-ville Senior High School. Riddle will attend Missouri University of Science and Technology to study computer science and Bayer will attend Truman State University to study nursing. Lee Bodendieck, center, Scholarship Committee chairman, presented the students with a certificate and a check.
The Kiwanis Club of South County recently presented scholarships to Tyler Yost and Hunter Westbrook, graduating seniors from Mehlville Senior High School Key Club. The presentations were made at the Mehlville School District’s spring 60plus barbecue.
