Kiwanis Club honors police officer

The Kiwanis Club of South County recently honored Officer Don May, center, of the Affton Southwest Precinct of the St. Louis County Police Department as its Officer of the Quarter. May was honored for his untiring dedication and service to the south county community, according to a news release. Ed Kurmann of the Kiwanis Club, left, presented May with a certificate of recognition and a gift card to a local restaurant. May was accompanied to the meeting by Lt. Francis Gomez.

    The Kiwanis Club of South County recently honored St. Louis County Police Officer Heather Lagulli of the Affton Southwest Precinct as its Officer of the Quarter.

    Lagulli was recognized for the outstanding performance of her duties. She currently serves as a school resource officer for the Mehlville School District.

    Over the past couple of years, she has personally helped the students begin a drama program at their school, oftentimes using her own resources to help get the projects started.

    The Kiwanis Club of South County recently honored Officer Kristina Fosdick of the county Police Department’s Affton Southwest Precinct as its Officer of the Quarter. Fosdick was honored for her untiring dedication and service to the south county community, a news release stated. South County Kiwanis Club President Louann Elledge, left, presented Fosdick with a certificate of recognition and a gift card to a local store. Also attending the ceremony was Capt. Chris Stocker, right, commander of the Affton Southwest Precinct.
