The Gravois Kiwanis Club recently awarded $1,000 college scholarships to four local high school students. These awards were presented at the 25th annual Kiwanis Scholarship Luncheon. Each year, a group of high school students are judged by a scholarship nominating committee on the basis of academic performance and financial need. To date, the Gravois Kiwanis Club has given more than $70,000 in scholarships to high school students. This year’s recipients, from left, are: Terra Williams, Hancock Place Senior High School; Brendan Wright, Oakville Senior High School; NaJla Hasic, Affton High School; and Jane Bohn, who accepted the scholarship for Stephanie Michlski, Hancock Place Senior High School.
