Courtney and Ryan Pierce of Kirk\wood celebrated their first wedding anniversary May 29.
The former Courtney Melissa Good-win and Ryan Allen Pierce were married May 29, 2004, under the gazebo at Mudd’s Grove in Kirkwood by the Rev. Gregory Weeks.
She is the daughter of Bill and Sharon Goodwin of Sunset Hills.
He is the son of Richard Pierce of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sandra Gummersheimer of Columbia.
She is a graduate of the University of Missouri where she earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies and a graduate of Stephens College where she re-ceived a degree in elementary education.
He received a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri and is employed by the Missouri Department of Transportation as a traffic engineer.
