Lauren E. Kirkpatrick, a resident of Sunset Hills, recently received her doctor of medicine degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Kirkpatrick is a 2004 Lindbergh High School graduate.

She received a bachelor of science degree in exercise and sports science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Kirkpatrick will remain in Columbia as she begins her residency at University of Missouri Hospitals, where she will pursue a pediatric specialty.

Her parents are Charles and Denise Kirkpatrick of Sunset Hills.
