Kevin and Janet Smith celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary May 12 with family members on a train trip.
They were married May 13, 1972, at Trinity United Church of Christ in St. Louis by Rev. Conrad and Father List.
Kevin Smith is employed by Metro and Janet Smith is employed by Grant’s Farm.
They are the proud parents of Jennifer (Chris) Snethen of St. Louis, Staff Sgt. Joshua (Cassie) Smith of San Diego, Calif. and Joseph (fiancé Lauren) Smith of St. Louis.
The couple have two grandchildren: Aidan, 5, and Molly, 2.
