Kennerly teacher fosters summer reading

June 17, 2015
Every other week during the summer months, Kennerly Elementary School teacher Kris Parm-eley gathers with her exiting kindergarten students and their parents at the Tesson Ferry Branch County Library to read together and help them check out books. After everyone has checked out books and read with their teacher, the group heads to a nearby snow-cone stand or ice-cream shop for a sweet treat together. This is the 20th year that Parmeley has hosted her summer reading nights for her students and their parents.
