Kennerly students give back

Kennerly Elementary School students have been busy sharing good cheer with the community and giving back in great ways, according to a district news release. Students recently went caroling at Tesson Heights Senior Living and entertained the residents who live there. The Kiwanis Kids rang bells and sang carols at Dierbergs, raising almost $200 in two hours for the Salvation Army. Back at school, students schoolwide donated more than $600 in a week to help Kennerly families in need this holiday season, and the K-Kids collected more than 50 toys for children at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
