Kennerly Elementary School’s 50th anniversary “Celebration Picnic and Dads’ Barbecue” will be Saturday, May 5.
Field games for young and old, from kickball to washers to three-legged races and the marshmallow chomp, will be featured at the event.
A formal program, including birthday cake, time capsule and a visit from mascot Lucky Lindy, will take place at noon.
Try to drop some of your favorite staff members into the dunk tank and watch others get arrested. Hang out with Lucky Lindy, sing karaoke and visit with friends.
A shuttle will be provided from the Sperreng Middle School parking lot. All past and present Kennerly families are invited to celebrate from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
