Pfc. Karen Outman, a 2011 graduate of Oakville Senior High School, recently graduated from Army basic training at Fort Sill, Okla.
Outman reported to Fort Sam Houston, San Antonia, Texas, to attend her advanced individual training for eight weeks.
She will be a veterinary food inspection specialist, which will work with her veterinarian major at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
She is the daughter of Dan and Jann Outman of Oakville.
