Kaitlin Lee McKeirnan, 21, died April 6.

Ms. McKeirnan was a 2008 graduate of Lindbergh High School and a 2011 graduate of St. Louis Community College-Meramec, where she earned an associate degree. Since the age of 16, she often worked more than one job while attending school.

Ms. McKeirnan had a wonderful rapport with older individuals, while still having the energy of her youth. She was full of joy and fun. She was spontaneous and always ready to take on an adventure.

Ms. McKeirnan will be missed by her many friends, but especially by her family, who love her deeply. She lives forever in the hearts and memories of all who were blessed to know her.

Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Karla (nee Shryock) McKeirnan; sister, Kendal McKeirnan; grandparents, June Barthels and Carolyn (Jack) Doty; aunts and uncles, Mary McKeirnan, Charles and Tammy McKeirnan, Trudy and Brian Hamilton and Denise and Thomas Herren. Ms. McKeirnan was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Thomas McKeirnan and Frederick Shryock.

Services were at Crestwood Christian Church. Visitation was at Hoffmeister South County Chapel.
