The Lindbergh Football Association Junior Flyers finished their seasons with winning records.
The sixth-grade team boasted an undefeated 8-0 regular season record, allowing only 22 points to be scored against it all season. The Flyers gave up one victory in postseason play against Francis Howell.
Seventh-graders were just as golden, with a 9-0 undefeated record for regular and postseason play. This team allowed only 33 points scored against it all season.
Finally, the eighth-grade team fought hard and overcame many injuries to bring home a winning 5-3 record for the regular season, according to a news release.
“Our football program is alive and well, and on the path to continued success,” Lindbergh Football Association President Donna McNamara stated in the release.
