Genelle Kowalczyk, daughter of Keith and Cheryl Kowalczyk of Sunset Hills, and Vance Brakefield, son of Ron and Anita Brakefield of Chelsea, Okla., announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Kowalczyk is a graduate of Lindbergh High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tulsa. She is employed as a graduate assistant at TU and will receive her master of business administration degree in May 2005.
Her fiance, Brakefield, is a graduate of Chelsea High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Tulsa. He earned a master’s in educational administration from Oklahoma State University this May. He is employed as a band director for the Sequoyah Public Schools.
The couple plan a June 12 wedding at the bride’s parents’ home.
