Joseph G. Petrelli, 78, died Feb. 5 at St. Anthonys Medical Center.
Born in Chicago, Mr. Petrelli resided in Oakvile for 27 years. He was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad, where he worked for 32 years.
Mr. Petrelli was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Berwyn, Ill., Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 422.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Dee Petrelli; daughters Corinne (James) Rodman, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Charise Petrelli, DDS, (Ben Petrovic) of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; and granddaughters, Sarah, Sienna and Harper Lee.
Services and visitation were at the Elms Funeral Home in Elmwood Park, Ill., and St. Peters United Church of Christ in Chicago with the Rev. Daniel Sather officiating.
Burial was in St. Josephs Cemetery in River Grove, Ill.
