Johnnie and Jean Cobb celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 20.
A reception was at Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Arnold.
Mr. Cobb and the former Jean Horton were married July 20, 1968, at First Baptist Church in Essex by the Rev. Brooks.
He is employed by Chrysler, where he has worked for 41 years. Mrs. Cobb is retired from the Mehlville School District.
They have two children: Sandy Martin of Arnold and Angie Burns of Mehlville.
The couple have three grandchildren.
