John P. Cassimatis, 90, died Jan. 16 at Bethesda Southgate in Oakville.

Mr. Cassimatis was born in St. Louis. He was owner of the Missouri Bar and Grill.

Mr. Cassimatis was an Army veteran of World War II, a lifelong member of AHEPA Chapter 53, American Legion Post 1 and Ancient Free and Accepted Mason Naphtali Lodge No. 25.

Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Sophia Hittler and Marianna and Elmer Wells; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Cassimatis was preceded in death by his wife, Nicoletta Cassimatis; son-in-law, Michael Hittler; brother, Emanuel; and sister, Dorothy.

Services were at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Visitation and services were at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
