John and Carol Cleary celebrated their 50th anniversary Dec. 29 at LiUNA Event Center in Sunset Hills. John Cleary and the former Carol Jennewein wed Dec. 28, 1968, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Lemay. The couple has three children: Cathleen, John and Ryan, all of St. Louis; and six grandchildren.
