Jennifer Anne Starek, daughter of Kurt and Kathleen Roettering and Steven Starek of Ballwin, and Eric James Danker, son of David and Rosetta Danker of Jackson, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Starek of St. Louis graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor of journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May 1999 with an emphasis in design. She is working as a graphic designer for America Online.
Danker, received a bachelor of science in computer science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May 1999 and is a software developer at U.S. Bank.
The couple plan an Aug. 23 wedding at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Louis.
