Gwendolyn Jankowski, who recently completed her first year of study toward a doctor of veterinary medicine degree, was among students and graduates honored at the Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences awards ceremony.
Jankowski, daughter of Jim and Kathleen Robertson of Crestwood, was presented three honors, including a Class of 2008 Leadership Award and the Ted T. Reeder Memorial Scholarship, according to a news release.
She also was one of three recipients of the $1,000 Austin W. and Audrey B. Weedn Foundation Scholarship for first-year veterinary students.
More than $169,000 in scholarships, awards and stipends were presented to 108 College of Veterinary Medicine graduates and students during the ceremony at the culmination of OSU’s spring semester.
