Janet S. Marshall (nee Walker), 53, died March 25.
Born in Santa Maria, Calif., Mrs. Marshall resided in Imperial. She was a certified member of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains. Her pastoral ministry included SSM DePaul and St. Anthonys medical centers. She served more than six years as chaplain for Incarnate Word and SSM Hospice and director of pastoral care at Nazareth Living Center.
She was a 20-year member with the Secular Franciscan Order.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Donald Marshall; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Shawn Bell; and sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and David Efird.
Services were conducted at the Nazareth Living Center. Visitation was at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, south county. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
