Lisa Jackson, daughter of Richard and Denise Jackson of Oakville, and Tim Straszacker, son of Robert and Mary Straszacker of Oakville, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Jackson, of Oakville, is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She earned a degree in communications from Fontbonne University.

Her fiancé, Straszacker, is a graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School. He earned a degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is employed by Horner & Shifrin of St. Louis as an engineer.

The couple plan a Nov. 15 wedding at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church in Oakville.
