Duty calls
Ian Rappold, a 2002 graduate of Oakville Senior High School, picks up his gear as his unit, the 1221st Transportation Company of the Missouri National Guard, prepares to depart for active duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Behind Rappold is his father, Tom, also of Oakville. A deployment ceremony took place March 13 at Jefferson Barracks.
