Letter to the Editor

To the editor:

My Call acquaintance, Gloria Lloyd,

Has thusly brought to mind

That politicians think their best

When they have all resigned.

For once in office,

They forget

The cause for which they signed

Instead, they get their egos met

While to the public, blind.

If only they would truly service

Their fellow humankind

They’d prove they really have the nerves

To create “auld lang syne.”
