Bridget Hopkins, daughter of John and Margaret Hopkins of Alton, Ill., and Steven Bernstetter, son of Michael and Karen Bernstetter of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Oakville, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Hopkins, of St. Louis, is a graduate of Fontbonne University, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications. She is employed by Brown, Smith, Wallace LLC of St. Louis as a senior talent acquisition specialist.
Her fiance, Bernstetter, is a graduate of Truman University, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy. He also earned a master’s degree in public policy from the University of St. Louis. He is employed by BJC Healthcare of St. Louis as a compliance manager.
The couple plan a Sept. 28 wedding at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton, Ill.
