Crestwood Elks Lodge 2503 will sponsor the Elks National “Hoop Shoot” Basketball Free Throw Contest Sunday, Dec. 11, at St. Johns United Church of Christ, Interstate 55 and South Lindbergh Blvd.
The contest is open to children ages 8 to 13. Participants are asked to bring proof of age as of April 1, 2006. Reg-istration will begin at noon and the contest will start at 1 p.m.
Local winners will advance to district, state, regional and national competitions.
