Heather Dawn Schertzer, 30, died Oct. 3 following a yearlong aggressive battle with cancer.

Mrs. Schertzer brought joy and happiness to all around her throughout her short life.

Her friendly personality and acceptance of everyone was remarkable. Her bright blue eyes melted hearts and lit up every room she ever entered.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Aaron M. Schertzer, and their three young children, Kennady, 10; Reagan, 5; and Jackson, 4.

She was the daughter-in-law of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin R. Schertzer Jr. and the sister-in-law of Dr. and Mrs. David M. Schertzer and Kimberly A. Schertzer.

Following cremation, a memorial service was conducted at Manchester United Methodist Church to celebrate her life.
