Second Lt. Cody Harvey, a 2008 graduate of Oakville Senior High School, recently completed his Basic Officer Leadership Course training at Fort Sill, Okla.

Harvey is an air defenseman with the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade in the U.S. Army.

He will be stationed at Camp Casey, Korea, with the 2nd Infantry Division, ac-cording to a news release.

The lieutenant graduated May 14 from the University of Illinois with a bachelor of science degree in architecture, the release stated.

He was commissioned May 15 into the U.S. Army.

Harvey is the son of Judy Harvey and Richard Harvey, both of Oakville.
