Edward and Angela Harris announce the birth of their first child, Ethan Andrew, 19½ inches, 4 pounds, 8 ounces. He was born March 8 at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center.

Paternal grandparents are Edward and Martha Harris Sr. of DeSoto.
Maternal great-grandmother is Gladys Garland of Marble Hill.
