Hamby named Truman administrative intern

Craig Hamby has been selected as administrative intern at Truman Elementary School for the 2009-2010 school year.

Hamby joined the Lindbergh School District as a fifth grade teacher in 2001, according to a district news release.

For the past two years, he served as district math coordinator.

He will replace Assistant Principal Megan Stryjewski, who will serve as principal at Truman next year.

Hamby received his bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s degree in educational administration from Southwest Baptist University. He is pursuing his education specialist degree in school administration/superintendency at Missouri Baptist University.

Hamby served on several Lindbergh School District committees, including the Response to Intervention Committee, Professional Development Committee and the Lindbergh Comprehensive School Improvement Committee.

Before coming to Lindbergh, Hamby was a fourth-grade teacher at Taylor Elementary in the Dunklin R-V School District.

He will begin his position as administrative intern on July 1.
