A groundbreaking ceremony was conducted Saturday, Oct. 22, on a new Dairy Queen Grill and Chill/Orange Julius at 6070 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Green Park.
The restaurant is estimated to open Dec. 26. It will offer the Dairy Queen Grill and Chill menu and Orange Julius products.
The store will seat 69 inside and 18 outside on the patio. About 65 employees will work at the store.
The store is owned by StephChris of Missouri LLC. Majority stockholders are Brian and Laurie Brown, who have 15 years of experience in the DQ system. Matt Wilson will be the general manager of the site.
The organization, StephChris LLC, is named after the Browns’ two daughters, Stephanie and Chrissie.
