The city of Green Park will host its second annual “Groovin’ in the Green” concert next week at Officer Blake C. Snyder Memorial Park, 9801 Green Park Road.
The event will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19.
The concert, for city residents and businesses, will feature music by the South Side Johnny Band beginning at 6 p.m.
The event also will feature a variety of other activities, giveaways and free snacks and drinks.
City officials encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs and coolers.
