Green Park Business Association becomes Chamber of Commerce

The Green Park Business Association has changed its name to the Green Park Chamber of Commerce and elected officers for 2003.

James C. Smoot, president of Fantasy Coachworks, was elected to a two-year term as president of the Green Park Chamber of Commerce.

Other officers elected to two-year terms are:

· Michael Saracino of Bartolino’s South – senior vice president.

· Larry Callahan of DiSalvo’s Jeep – vice president.

· James Allen of Clayton/Hanley Insur-ance – secretary/treasurer.

“Our name change represents our commitment to the city of Green Park and our efforts to bring the business and residential communities together in order to make this city a successful place to live in,” Smoot stated in a news release.

The Green Park Chamber of Commerce meets at 8 a.m. the fourth Thursday of each month at Bartolino’s South, 5914 S. Lind-bergh Blvd.
