Carol and Richard Jahnke celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 19 with their immediate family.
Mr. Jahnke and the former Carol Martin were married Sept. 19, 1959.
Mrs. Jahnke attended Carondelet School and graduated from Cleveland High School. She retired as secretary from Local 505.
Mr. Jahnke attended Roosevelt High School and retired as vice president of produce from Wetterau Foods.
They are the parents of four: Donna Jahnke, Mark Jahnke, Patti Seace and Barbara Stokes.
The couple have six grandchildren: Kurt Overy, Adam Overy, R.J. Jahnke, Alex Jahnke, Makayla Stokes and Sara Stokes.
