Helen Fitzgerald’s Irish Grill and Pub in Sunset Hills hosted St. Baldrick’s, its annual head-shaving event to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research. The head-shaving event benefits the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants.
Participants had their heads shaved on stage in exchange for donations to St. Baldrick’s: 495 people participated in the ‘Rock the Bald’ challenge and over $400,000 was raised for the organization.
