Geraldine L. Riedel (nee Dicker-son), 87, died July 30.

Born in Nashville, Ill., Mrs. Riedel resided in Concord. She was retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in East St. Louis, Ill. and was a volunteer for Incarnate Word Hospital.

Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald C. and Shirley Riedel and Charles J. Riedel; daughters and sons-in-law, Lucy M. and Ron Schulze and Madonna M. Riedel; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon R. and Marian Dickerson; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Riedel was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. “Chuck’’ Ridel, and son, Charles J. Riedel Jr.

Services were at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Visitation was at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
