Gene G. Sidwell, 65, died Nov. 5.

Born in St. Louis, he resided in Oak-ville. He was an auto mechanic.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Jo Anne Sidwell (nee Doggendorf); daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Michael Lee; mother, Alice Sidwell; mother-in-law, Veronica Doggendorf; brothers, Gary Sidwell and Earl Sidwell; sisters, Joyce Sidwell and Ruth Alex-ander; and two grandchildren. Mr. Sid-well was preceded in death by his father, Jess Sidwell; father-in-law, Nick Dog-gendorf; and brother, Charles Sidwell.

Services were conducted at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Visitation was at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons, south county. Burial was in St. Trinity Cemetery.
