Iris Gayanilo, daughter of John and Vivian Nichols of Moorhead, Iowa, and Marc Schmidt, son of George and Kathy Schmidt of St. Louis, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Gayanilo of Moorhead, Iowa, is a graduate of Dunlap High School and Iowa State University. She is employed by Van Zeeland Inc. of Dallas, North Texas, as a merchandise coordinator.
Her fiancé, Schmidt of St. Louis, is a 2001 graduate of Oakville Senior High School and Iowa State University. He is employed by Adams Golf of Plano, Texas as a mechanical engineer.
The couple plan an April 24 wedding at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Mehlville.
