The first Oakville Community Market, which is envisioned as a farmers market and vendor fair, was held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ last week. Local farms attended to sell produce, as seen below, and food trucks were on hand along with live music. Vendors sold jewelry, flower arrangements and even slime. The free community event will take place every week during the summer at St. Paul’s, 5508 Telegraph Road, and vendors can also set up for free. The second edition of the market will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9.
