Fund-raiser slated to benefit Circle of Angels

Angels’ Arms and the Circle of Angels announce a fund-raiser, “A Fashionista Event for Fosters,” that will include boutique shopping, a seated lunch, a spring fashion show and makeovers.

The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Sunset Country Club, 9555 S. Geyer Road.

Bridget and Margaret Kelly of “FoodTalk with the Kelly Twins” on KTRS will serve as masters of ceremonies.

Westfield Shoppingtown West County, Delmar Gardens and the William S. Kallaos Family Foundation are the main sponsors of the event.

All of the proceeds from “A Fashionista Event for Fosters” will benefit the Circle of Angels, a wing of Angels’ Arms whose mission is to support the families living in the Angels’ Arms homes through a variety of resources.

“Oftentimes, children come to our homes with only the clothes on their backs,” Re-Re Noelke, president of the Circle of An-gels, stated in a news release. “Emergency clothing like undergarments, socks and pajamas is just one important thing the money raised at this event will go to support. Funds will also be used for things such as fees for sports teams, class trips, instruments, family activities, food and so much more.”

Reservations are required for “A Fashionista Event for Fosters.” Seating is limited. Call the Angels’ Arms office at (314) 726-6899 for more information.
